And, join us in singing a selection of top tunes from Handel’s Messiah – bring your score if you have one!

Featured Secession artists present works by Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein, Goldrich & Heisler, and Jason Robert Brown along with some delectable Secession surprises, in an intimate concert of solos, duets, and small ensembles.

Dolci Momenti: Boston Secession Benefit Concert Sunday, May 17, 2009, 3 pm Gordon Chapel, Old South Church Copley Square Boston, MA
Boston Secession will conclude its twelfth concert season on May 17 with Dolci Momenti, a concert to benefit the ensemble. The wide-ranging repertoire features solos and duets drawn from Secession's past seasons, and will include works by Handel, Mozart, Purcell, Quilter, Blitzstein, Duparc, Poulenc, Bizet, Pärt, Fauré, Saint-Saëns, and Brahms.
The concert showcases many of Boston’s finest voices, including Jessica Cooper, Brenna Wells, Mary Gerbi, Carrie Cheron, Adriana Repetto, and Thann Scoggin, along with special guest artist Nancy Armstrong. Dolci Momenti also features violinist Edward Wu, cellist Sandi-Jo Malmon, and Vytas Baksys, keyboardist and accompanist for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, who will perform both as an accompanist and soloist.
